TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- Families and groups of people old and young gathered in the sunshine Sunday to cheer on the Sleepy Hollow St. Patrick's Day Parade.
Broadway and Beekman Avenue were lined with crowds waving and cheering on the procession in their festive Irish gear - shamrock headbands and green Mardi Gras beads were favorites.
Grand Marshal Kitty Geisler led the parade. Local police and fire departments, bagpipe and drum bands, schools, community organizations marched through town, and even the legendary Headless Horseman made an appearance.

A few detour signs would have been nice, I was lost and stuck in ridiculous traffic for over an hour very badly handled.
A Thank You to all who made the parade possible.
