Crowds Cheer On Sleepy Hollow's St. Patrick's Day Parade

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- Families and groups of people old and young gathered in the sunshine Sunday to cheer on the Sleepy Hollow St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Broadway and Beekman Avenue were lined with crowds waving and cheering on the procession in their festive Irish gear - shamrock headbands and green Mardi Gras beads were favorites.

Grand Marshal Kitty Geisler led the parade. Local police and fire departments, bagpipe and drum bands, schools, community organizations marched through town, and even the legendary Headless Horseman made an appearance.
