White Plains Hospital To Host Career Fair For Health-Care Professionals

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- White Plains Hospital will be hosting a career fair for experienced health-care professionals in the hospital's Centennial Room from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 15.

The hospital is at 41 East Post Road, White Plains.

Representatives from human resources and other departments will be available to meet candidates interested in applying for employment.

Available opportunities include roles as staff nurses, nursing leaders, care managers, physician assistants, medical assistants, engineering project managers and medical technologists.

No advance registration is required. All attendees should bring an updated resume or cover letter. Tours of the hospital, along with refreshments and chances to win a new iPad will be offered.

The career fair coincides with the most significant capital transformation project in the hospital’s 120-year history, a multiphase initiative to modernize and expand facilities in order to accommodate and expanding physician base and growth in several clinical areas.

Later this month, the hospital will break ground on a new six-story building to house physician office space adjacent to the Dickstein Cancer Treatment Center, which will double the size of the Cancer Center to approximately 70,000 square feet. In October, the hospital broke ground on a new lobby, entranceway and six-story patient tower, expected to be complete next year.
