White Plains Hospital Doctors Discuss How To Navigate A Cancer Diagnosis

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – White Plains Hospital is presenting an informative program to educate patrons on how to navigate a cancer diagnosis at the Scarsdale Public Library on Thursday, Nov. 13 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The Scarsdale Library is at 54 Olmsted Rd., Scarsdale.

The program will have three presenters: Dr. Joshua Raff, chief of oncology at White Plains Hospital; Dr. Sara Sadan, director of breast and women’s cancer program and Dr. Pamela Weber, director at White Plains Hospital Imaging Center at New Rochelle.

Raff, Sadan and Weber will focus on what a cancer diagnosis means, clinical trials and second opinions, how to make the most of office visits, the types of cancer treatments available and questions to ask doctors.

The program serves to educate and empower the community. Refreshments will be served.
