SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. -- Folks can learn to fly with the Westchester Circus Arts in early August, with two types of trapeze classes.
Real trapeze artists will teach the classes and workshop.
The two-hour classes will be from Tuesday, Aug. 2, to Sunday, Aug. 7. They are for folks ages 5 to adult, and no experience is necessary.
On Tuesday to Friday, the classes will be offered at 10 a.m. to noon, 1-3 p.m. and 6:30-8:30 p.m. The cost is $60. On Saturday and Sunday, the classes are at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 2-4 p.m. and 6:30-8:30 p.m. The cost is $70 .

The other option is a four-day trapeze intensive workshop, for kids 8 to 18. It's Tuesday through Friday, Aug. 2-5, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
In this workshop, participants can "train like a professional," organizers note. The days will begin with stretching, moving to team-building games and a morning fly session.
"We will share a lunch which will be followed by trapeze traditions and choreography which will include how to work board by themselves," organizers note. In the afternoon, the fly session will included a catching session, and participants will work on the relevant full-body workout.
The workshop cost is $695, and sibling discounts are available. Call 914-275-5711 to register.
The classes will be held at Edge on Hudson, 199 Beekman Ave., in Sleepy Hollow.
