Healthy foods will be prepared, accompanied by a picture book related to the food. Children will be introduced to the ingredients, encouraged to explore them with all senses and learn how to measure and take turns making a dish inspired by a children's book.
Shvil-Tobi been a cooking instructor for 10 years. She has also been a preschool teacher in a Montessori school in Brooklyn and in a preschool in Westchester. She brings with her the understanding of child development and the creative methods of educating young children.
Food education has become a passion and mission for the chef. In her lessons, she focuses on healthy and delicious ingredients, and familiarizes students with simple and natural ways of satisfying their appetite.
