The festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. marks the 40th anniversary celebration of The Rev. Sun Myung Moon's Yankee Stadium speech.

The Belvedere Estate was a base for the Unification Movement founder, the late Rev. Sun Myung Moon, for over 25 years from 1973 to 1998, and it is estimated that more than 500,000 Unificationists attended services and sermons there during that quarter century, said a release.

In earlier years, the Belvedere Estate served as a country summer estate for generations of the Bronfman family, owners of the Seagrams beverage empire, and before that, when it was named Zeeview, it housed one of the top collections of Western Art in the United States, the property of Dr. Philip Cole.

The centerpiece of the estate, the Belvedere Main House, has recently been undergoing a major renovation project which began in July 2014 and has been largely completed.

In 1976, Moon spoke at Yankee Stadium emphasizing that strong, healthy families are the cornerstone of a strong nation.

There will be an informational presentation about the Marriage Blessing Ceremony at the festival following the main program.

The festival will include a short celebratory worship service open to all faiths, videos and other multimedia presentations of American life and music in the long forgotten summer of 1976.

Ten bands and individuals will perform live music on the festival stage and there will be children’s games, bouncy castles, pony rides, international and fusion food vendors, a picnic area, sports, and self-guided tours of the estate.

Admission is $10 per person, and free for children under 5.
