Guitarist Paul Barrere was an original member of Little Feat when the band formed in 1972, and has remained active in the industry ever since. Fellow guitarist Fred Tackett's connection with the band goes back to his friendship with founder Lowell George, as George wanted to record Tackett's “Fool Yourself” and Tackett sat in on the sessions in Hollywood.
When Little Feat reformed in 1987, Barrere asked Tackett to become the new band's second guitarist. The pair eventually decided to become an acoustic duo in 1999, recording and releasing two live albums, “Live From The North Café” and “Live In The UK 2008.”
Their history as a pair and on their own includes work with artists like Bob Dylan, Bonnie Raitt, Taj Mahal, Jack Bruce, Phil Lesh and others.
Orleans is best known as the band behind "Still The One" and "Dance With Me," but their body of work goes beyond that. They've been together for 42 years and released 16 albums to date.
The show starts at 8 p.m., and tickets run from $48 to $58. To purchase seats, call (877)-840-0457 and go online to tickets.tarrytownmusichall.org.
