This year’s grand marshal, Susan Sincero, led the parade of more than 27 floats and groups participating and thousands more in costumes. Sincero was the founder of the parade 14 years ago.

There were thousands gathered to watch the parade as it left Patriot’s Park and marched down Broadway to Main Street.

The marching bands included the Tappan Zee Bridgemen, The Veterans marching band, the Sleepy Hollow Middle High School band, Cathedral High School from Manhattan and the Marching Cobras.

The Marching Cobras came back to Main Street to perform for the crowds. The block party that followed kept children and parents dancing in the street and Andrea and the Armenian Rug Runners Band continued until 10 p.m., after the disc jockey ended at 8 p.m.

Prizes were awarded to best float, best group, best child’s costume, best costume and best overall. Visit www.tarrytownhalloweenparade.com for a list of the winners.
