Tarrytown's JCC On The Hudson Throws Food Truck Party

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- JCC on the Hudson is launching RiverTowns Socials — Connecting on the Hudson, a new series of social events for adults, from 7-10 p.m. Saturday with a "lot party," featuring several food trucks.

Featured vendors and offerings will include hot dogs from the Dobbs Dawg House, pizza from Dough Nation, tacos from the Pink Panther Tacos and an ice cream truck. The party will also feature unlimited wine and beer, and a DJ playing dance music, all for one price. Tickets are $40.

“We created these events for the JCC to bring people together to have a great time and do a little good,” said Rebecca Schleifer, of Dobbs Ferry, who co-chairs the group with Liza Wang, of Irvington.

Attendees are asked to bring a school supply item — backpacks, notebooks, pens, pencils, binders, classroom supplies — to be donated to Kids’ Closet in White Plains to distribute to children in need just in time for school.

JCC on the Hudson is at 371 S. Broadway, Tarrytown.
