This event is a collaboration with the Tarrytown YMCA Healthy Kids Day. The park is transformed into a festival of music, food, small carnival rides, demonstrations, crafts and vendors that can help you with your healthy living choices.

The Andres Brook becomes the center of the event with seven rubber-duck races throughout the day. The rubber-ducks race in six heats with the help of Hope Hose Fire Dept.

The members of Hope Hose Company along with Conqueror Hook & Ladder Company engineer their guillotine to hold back the water and then use their fire truck to fill the holding cell. As the rubber ducks are dumped over the stone bridge into the brook, the water is released and the rubber ducks race to the finish line.

Kids and adults gather around the stream to cheer on the rubber ducks hoping that their rubber duck will be the winner of the heat. Each heat winner wins $100 and the six heat winners race in the final race at 2:45 p.m. for the grand prize of $1,500.
