"This Sunday afternoon of great jazz has grown ever-more popular over the years," Dr. Bruce Heckman, medical director of the Phelps Hospice program, said. "It's a relaxed atmosphere in an intimate theater setting in which people can share their love of jazz with top-flight performers."

Tickets are $35 and available on the theater's website. All proceeds will benefit the hospice program at Phelps Memorial Hospital in Sleepy Hollow. The program “provides professional and dignified services to families and patients at the end of life, in their homes or in a hospital or healthcare facility.”

Perez will be performing an original piece called “The Afropean Suite,” which first premiered at the Jazz Gallery in New York City and the OSPAC Jazz Festival in New Jersey.

Sands has performed with trumpeter Wynton Marsalis and Christian McBride's trio and quintet group “Inside Straight.” His music examines several genres of jazz: stride, swing, bebop, fusion, progressive, Brazilian and Afro-Cuban.

Walker is a Grammy award-winning singer, with performances at the Kennedy Center Women in Jazz Festival, the Jazz Standard in Manhattan and the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. She has opened for Ray Charles and performed at the Duke Ellington Centennial Celebration with the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra.
