TARRYTOWN, N.Y. – The Tarrytown Environmental Advisory Council will host a workshop about solarizing homes Sunday from 1–2:45 p.m. at Warner Library.
Solarizing homes lowers utility bills and helps avoid rising energy costs. Participants will learn easy and affordable ways to solarize their home or business by Solarize Westchester. Discount pricing will be available with an even lower cost if enough participants take part.
Pre-selected solar contractor Sunrun will complete installations in the community at a discounted Solarize price. The program ends Feb. 29, 2016.
The Warner Library is at 121 N. Broadway, Tarrytown.
