Singer Iris Dement Performs At Tarrytown Music Hall

Her latest release is a series of rustic, Delta-indebted takes on the works of 20th-century Russian poet Anna Akmatova called ‘"The Trackless Woods."’ She brings these songs to The Tarrytown Music Hall for a special engagement 

Akhmatova was a Russian figure who wrote poetry for much of the 20th century and survived both World Wars and the Stalin regime while many of her fellow writers and family members were detained in gulags, murdered by the government.
