Phelps Memorial Launches Food And Wine Fest

SLEEPY HOLLOW, NY -- Phelps Memorial Hospital Center will host the first ever Phelps Food and Wine Fest on Sunday from 12-4 p.m. at Trump National Golf Club in Briarcliff Manor.

John Sarofeen, owner of Grape Expectations in Tarrytown and wine manager Jairo Triguero will be helping guests enjoy fine wines from around the world at the Phelps Food &Wine fest March 22 at Trump National Golf Club.

Twenty local restaurants will host dining stations with food paired with complementary wine selections from Tarrytown's Grape Expectations as well as conversation. Owner John Sarofeen says "We’re looking forward to presenting guests with a better understanding of their palates through an eclectic tasting experience and lots of conversation about the wines they are sampling.”

Celebrity chef Waldy Malouf will be at the fest to prepare and serve three dishes from the Culinary Institute of America's world-renowned restaurants. Phelps Food and Wine Fest will also feature a Belgian waffle station, Walter's Famous Hot Dogs and a Bavarian pretzel booth. Retailer Half Time will host a beer garden.

Ticket price is $90 per person. All proceeds will benefit Phelps Memorial Hospital Center.
