Born in West Hempstead on Long Island, on Feb. 21, 1970, she was the daughter of Margaret Crisci-Haag and the late Joseph Edwin Haag.

A Westchester native, Spaun and her husband, Gregory Spaun, moved to LaGrange 10 years ago and became involved in the community.

She was an active member and board member of both the Overlook-Titusville PTA and the Arlington Schools Special Education PTA and was formerly involved with A Mother's Kiss, a charity in her native Long Island dedicated to helping families of childhood cancer patients.

Spaun loved taking cruises, camping, and spending time with friends. She also loved helping others, but most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband Gregory; two sons, Stephen and Scott; brother, Joseph T. Haag, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will take place Friday, Sept. 22, at 10 a.m. at the Church of St. Martin de Porres, 118 Cedar Valley Road Poughkeepsie, followed by burial at LaGrange Rural Cemetery.
