Orleans got their start in Saugerties, where band members practiced in future Hudson Valley U.S Rep. John Hall's basement. Together for 41 years and 16 albums, the band is best known for their hits "Still the One," Dance With Me," and "Love Takes Time.”
Hall stepped away from the band to serve as a congressman, but after losing re-election he rejoined the band after the passing of co-founder Larry Hoppen in the summer of 2012. Along with Hoppen's brother Lance, Hall and longtime members Lane Hoppen, Fly Amero and Charlie Morgan honored Hoppen's memory by continuing the band.
Barrere and Tackett date back to Little Feat's beginnings in the late 1960s, and have been an acoustic duo since 1989.
