Irvington Holds Annual Peter Oley Turkey Trot

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- The Peter Oley Turkey Trot Hometown Tradition, a 2.5 mile run designed for families and friends with first-place winners to receive turkeys, returns to Dows Lane School on Sunday, Nov. 23 at 9:30 a.m.

Registration will be from noon to 1 p.m. at the school. Registration for adult residents is $15, youths 12 years old and younger is $10, non-resident adults is $20 and non-resident youth is $15. Registration ends at 1 p.m.

This race is named after the late Irvington track coach Peter K. Oley. This event is co-sponsored by the Irvington Girl Scout Community.
