Failed Waldwick Assisted Living Application Heads To Court

WALDWICK, N.J.. – A senior living development firm is taking the borough of Waldwick to court, northjersey.com reports.

Formation-Shelbourne Senior Living Services of Alpharetta, Ga., had proposed constructing a 94-bed assisted living center west of Walgreens at the intersection of Crescent and Wyckoff avenues.

The Waldwick Zoning Board voted 5-2 to deny the application of Formation-Shelbourne Senior Living Services of Alpharetta, Ga. to build a 79-unit assisted living facility, west of Walgreens at the intersection of Crescent and Wyckoff avenues, northjersey.com reports.Formation-Shelbourne's four-count appeal alleges that the board overstepped its bounds in denying the application.
