Stormy Start To Workweek In Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow, Irvington

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The stormy weather that brought a round of thunderstorms and flash flooding to parts of the area on Sunday will be back in full force on Monday in Westchester.

New rainfall amounts of up to a half an inch are possible during the day Monday, with showers and a thunderstorm possible and a high around 60.

An additional batch of storms are expected to produce heavy rainfall Monday night through the overnight into Tuesday with new rainfall amounts of up to 2 inches possible.

Residents should monitor forecasts and be prepared in case a flood warning is issued.

The rainy weather is expected through around noon Tuesday with a high in the mid 60s.

Skies are expected to brighten Wednesday with a high in the low 70s.
