Houlihan Lawrence Sponsors Westchester MS Walk, Event Raises Over $330,000

Sunday, April 26, 2015 was a warm day in New Rochelle; slightly windy, but finally warm. It seemed uncommon for this April, as Mother Nature had refused to relinquish her wintery grip on the Westchester region. But on this day hundreds of people from all around the Westchester area rose early and assembled at Glen Island Park in New Rochelle for a good cause. They gathered to raise money for the annual Walk MS Westchester County 2015, a 3 mile walk designed to raise money and awareness to benefit Multiple sclerosis research.

The walk, sponsored in part by Houlihan Lawrence, was a tremendous success. In addition to sponsoring and underwriting a portion of the walk, dozens of Houlihan Lawrence agents, managers and employees raised nearly $10,000.00 and participated in the event, which raised over $330,000.00 to support the cause.

Today, more than 2.3 million people are affected by this disease worldwide. The first Walk MS was in 1988, and since then, more than $820 Million has been raised to support life-changing programs and cutting-edge research.  A warm congratulation to all that participated and….we’ll see you all next year!
