TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- Temple Beth Abraham in Tarrytown is hosting a "Christmas in July" on Saturday, July 9, at 6:15 p.m. featuring a Kosher Chinese dinner and the movie “Noodle.”
The film tells the story of Miri Kalderon, 37, a twice-widowed Israeli flight attendant going through the motions of living, somehow detached from a real connection to life itself. Her decision to help reunite an abandoned child—nicknamed "Noodle"—with his mother who was deported and is now back in Beijing, ends up helping her in ways she could not have expected.
Though the movie is in Hebrew there will be English subtitles. The event is $36 per person for TBA members and $40 for guests. Bring your own wine, beer, or other spirit and alert the hosts to any dietary restrictions for the caterer to accommodate. To purchase tickets or for more information visit this link.
