"Our River, Our Stories" will begin at 7:30 p.m. The special event will celebrate the local community as residents are invited to share their stories on the Rivertowns.
"This is not a dramatic storytelling but stories told by real people about their real lives," representatives said. "It is compelling, personal and fun. Stories are about whatever you choose to share: serious, spiritual, comedic, ironic, whatever. The point is that the story is yours. It's original. And it somehow ties to the Hudson River. You don't have to be a great storyteller. You don't have to be an actor or actress. You don't have to have any special training. Just come and tell your story."
Curious on Hudson will join Tarrytown's Mark Seigel, author of "Sailor Twain." Seigel will be signing books during the event. Residents are invited to pre-register at the Curious-on-Hudson website.
