Crafts at Lyndhurst will have many special festivities. Visitors may make their own Shibumi silk scarves with Patricia Disantis; dance to live music by The Lindsey Webster Band and Reggie Earls & the Valley Soul; watch and participate in craft demonstrations by potter Scott Martin and wood turner Don Hart; eat in the expanded food court (now including delicious vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options); wander around the new Sculpture Garden; taste and bring home yummy sweet or savory specialty foods and entertain the kids with a variety of children’s activities including face painting, storytelling, balloon animals, stilt walkers and more.

Thirty years ago Lyndhurst, the flagship property of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, opened its gates to Artrider Productions and the first Crafts at Lyndhurst festival. Since then, more than three-quarters of a million people have enjoyed this cultural phenomenon that has become one of the most beloved arts festivals in the United States. Crafts at Lyndhurst has raised almost four million dollars for the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and has helped sustain the careers of thousands of artists from across the country. Check out what all of the fuss has been about for the last 30 years on Friday, Sept. 12 through Sunday, Sept. 14. A weekend pass is $12; seniors (62+) are $11; children 6 – 16 are $4 and children under 6 are free.
