WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. --  The Westchester All Stars Christmas Concert for Wounded Veterans returns Friday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 pm on the Tarrytown Music Hall stage, 13 Main St.  in Tarrytown.

The evening presents original holiday music by Westchester County's greatest musicians. The proceeds from the event will benefit two wounded veterans organizations: The Bob Woodruff Foundation and Veterans Adaptive Sports, Inc. Tax-deductible tickets cost $25, $35 and $50. To purchase tickets and learn more about the project, visit westchesterallstarschristmas.com. Former Yankee outfielder and Latin Grammy nominated jazz guitarist Bernie Williams and singer Eden Riegel (from television's All My Children and other animated projects) have both performed on the CD. Other artists scheduled to appear include Jon Cobert, Tom Dudley featuring Myles Mancuso, Bill Edwards, Vaneese Thomas, Dave Keyes and Duchess Di, Jessica Lynn, Scott and Mia Staton, Chuck St. Troy, and Kristen Capolino.  Bands ready to rock the night are Johnny Feds & Da Bluez Boyz, The Renovators, Stolen Moments and The Barnstormers.

The artists and celebrities are donating their performances and appearances, along with everything else -- from studio time to composing and arranging the music. Blocks of tickets are offered to the veterans, staff and volunteers from the Castle Point and Montrose Campus of the Veterans Affairs Hudson Valley Health Care System. Westchester All Stars founder Bill Edwards decided to make the program an annual event after the success of last year and positive feedback of everyone involved, including veterans attending the concert. This year's CD, Westchester All Stars Christmas for Wounded Veterans, Vol. 2, is ready for purchase featuring fifteen original holiday tunes to amp up the festivities with some blues, rock, R&B, pop, and rap. "This compilation boasts top shelf players in the music business with a connection to the area," says Edwards. "The amount of work it takes to produce the CD and live show is really a labor of love. But it is nothing in comparison to the sacrifices of the military and their family who are left alone in their absence. I can't think of any group more deserving than the men and women that have put themselves in harm's way on our behalf." The original CD, Westchester All Stars Christmas for Wounded Veterans (2012), is also available through iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby or the organization's website.  This year, a professional recording of the concert will be available afterwards on DVD and made available to Veterans groups and VA Hospitals.  All that is made possible due to the generosity of Dan Peck of VBD Video Productions, who is donating his services to shoot and record a DVD of the event. The Bob Woodruff Organization's mission is to ensure injured veterans and their families are thriving long after they return home.  With the return of 2.5 million troops deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan since September 11th, 2001, many will find struggle with the transition to the civilian world. After seven years, this organization has raised almost $20 million to help fund innovative programs in communities throughout the country. For more information, visitbobwoodrufffoundation.org. Veterans Adaptive Sports, Inc. promotes rehabilitation of disabled military service veterans by creating fun and challenging experiences. The organization, based in West Palm Beach, Florida, reaches out to veterans with spinal cord injuries, orthopedic amputations, visual impairments, and neurological injuries.  To learn more, visit veteransadaptivesports.org.
