The owner told police that Lorraine Hutchinson, 39, of Fairfield, had used a set of keys, disabled the alarm system and took five cases of Corona beer, valued at $160, in September, the police report said.  The owner had fired Hutchinson at an earlier date, police said.

Officers approached Hutchinson, and she told police that she would be happy to pay for the beer, the report said. The owner, however, requested she be arrested.

Hutchinson was charged with sixth-degree larceny. No court date or bond was given.
