Tarrytown Author Nick Bruel Visits Field Library In Peekskill

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – The Field Library in Peekskill will host author and illustrator Nick Bruel on Friday, Sept. 25, at 6:30 p.m.

Bruel is the author and illustrator of The New York Times best-seller “Boing!” and the “Bad Kitty” books. He will discuss how he gets his crazy ideas and what it takes to turn them into great books. “Bad Kitty” fans and wannabe writers and artists are invited to meet this talented, and always entertaining, author and illustrator.

At the end of the program, Bruel will be available to autograph books, which will be available for purchase at the library. All school-age children and adults are welcome. Refreshments will follow the program.

Bruel is a freelance illustrator and cartoonist who collects PEZ dispensers and grows tomatoes in the backyardand during his down time. He lives in Tarrytown with his wife, Carina, and their cat, Esmerelda.

The Field Library is at 4 Nelson Ave., Peekskill.
