Burns Patterson founded Tarrytown-based HudsonPR in 2014 after nearly 10 years at Middleton & Gendron Brand Communications, where he served as Chief Operating Officer. His career has included roles as Director of Public Relations, Sports Properties for Madison Square Garden – the “World’s Most Famous Arena” - as well as management positions in government and community affairs at Cablevision Systems Corporation, and as director of public relations for Historic Hudson Valley.A native New Yorker with a passion for his hometown, Burns based HudsonPR in New York City and Tarrytown and named the practice for the river that has been a touchstone throughout his life. Burns and his wife Ruth have raised their children in Sleepy Hollow, where their family has lived for nearly 20 years. He remains particularly proud of his most fleeting moment of fame – an onscreen credit in Tim Burton’s classic take on The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
