Long time Tarrytown resident Richard Getler is passionate about the art and profession of the captured image. His eclectic photography includes fine art photography, street photography, portraiture, wedding and event photography. Richard studied architecture at MIT and designed and built solar homes in California in the 1980s. After returning to school for a Masters in Computer Science, he directed internet strategy and IT for L’Oreal USA for 19 years.. For the past three years, he has owned and managed his own photography business. He is co-president of the Color Camera Club of Westchester (www.colorcameraclub.com), an active member of the Westchester Professional Photographers Association (www.westchesterppa.org), and a house photographer for the Tarrytown Music Hall (www.tarrytownmusichall.org).
