Green, who has served patients at ENTA’s E. 86th St. office in Manhattan, is an original and founding member of the practice, according to a press release. Before his election, he served as the chair of ENTA’s finance committee and company treasurer for 17 years, according to the release.

Dr. Wayne Eisman decided not to run for re-election as president of ENTA, a post he held for the past 16 years, according to the release. The 97 partners of ENTA, who gathered for their annual State of the Practice dinner at the Bronx Botanical Gardens, also elected three colleagues to serve a two-year term as board of trustee members. They included incumbents Dr. David Godin and Dr. Steven Gold and newly selected Dr. Moshe Ephrat.

Green graduated from Harvard Medical School, following undergraduate tenure at Stony Brook, where he graduated as the valedictorian, according to the release.

“I am honored to have been chosen by my colleagues to serve the best needs of our practice and more importantly our deserving patients,” said Green. “And I can only hope to live up to the standards of excellence set by my superb predecessor, Wayne Eisman. I will be seeking out his counsel, as well as that of all my fellow physicians, as we move forward.”

Eisman said, “Rob Green is the right choice to lead our practice forward through these challenging times. His expertise, experience and acumen in so many areas will be a huge asset to us all," according to the release.
